Pick your Own Blueberries in Weathersfield Vermont

Picking Status:

Closed During Weekdays

Open Saturday, Sunday

The blueberry picking is excellent. Some of the best of the season. The berries are big and plentiful.

On Wednesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Green Dragon Farm

is visited by the folks from “Willing Hands”.

This organization travels around the Upper Valley doing what is called “gleaning”

from local farms, to bring the fruits and veggies back to their food hub in Norwich to be distributed to many area food shelves and programs in our region.

If you can help us pick blueberries for them, for one hour , you are welcome to stay and pick for yourself for an hour afterwards, free of charge.

We sure could use your help!

Our Hours:

This week PYO:

Saturday 9:00 am

Sunday 10:00 AM

Picking is easy, lots of ripe berries now. The view is always beautiful.

Please bring your own containers to transfer your berries into, to take home. We do not supply boxes.

Occasionally when the summer heat is a concern the field may be shut down from 11 - 3 but will re-open as the day cools.

About the Farm

Nestled at the southern base of Mount Ascutney, Green Dragon Farm is the perfect place to pick berries on a summer day. We offer an acre of intensively planted blueberry bushes providing for easier picking. We have ample parking near our fields and do our best to make accommodations for visitors with mobility issues, please contact us in advance if you have questions about this.

We have early and mid-season varieties of blueberries extending our season from early-July to mid-August. Our current picking status is regularly updated here on our website.

We use organic farming practices, although we are not certified organic to help keep our prices reasonable. We are a long time member of the Vermont Vegetable and Berry Growers Association.

We are a working farm with animals and a road nearby we ask that you leave your four legged friends at home.
